Serving Those Who Served

The Care You Earned, in the Home You Love

Too many veterans never learn what veteran home assistance they qualify for. We change that. Our team helps you understand your VA and Medicaid home care benefits, handles the enrollment, and matches a caregiver who treats you with the respect you’ve earned — so you can stay safe and independent at home.

"The promise made to every veteran doesn't end at discharge. Helping them receive care at home is how we keep it."

Where We Serve

Bethlehem, Reading, Erie, Scranton, and Lancaster — CareSphere serves veterans and their families in all 67 Pennsylvania counties.

How the VA Pays for It

VA programs that cover veterans home care

Many veterans and families don't realize how much help is available. Here are the main programs — and we'll help you find the one that fits.

MOST REQUESTED

Veteran-Directed Care (VDC)

VDC gives the veteran a flexible monthly budget and the freedom to choose their own caregiver — which, in many cases, can include a family member. If you already care for a veteran you love, this may let you be paid for it. We manage enrollment, paperwork, and payroll.

AIDE SERVICES

Homemaker & Home Health Aide (H/HHA)

For veterans who need help with daily activities, the VA can authorize in-home aide services through an approved agency — typically a set number of care hours each week.

ADDED PENSION

Aid & Attendance (A&A)

Wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need daily-living help may qualify for an added monthly pension on top of their standard VA pension — support that can go toward home care.

FAMILY CAREGIVER STIPEND

Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC)

For eligible veterans seriously injured in the line of duty, this program provides a monthly stipend, training, and support for a designated family caregiver.

Not sure which program fits? We’ll review your eligibility — and many veterans also qualify for Pennsylvania Medicaid (Community HealthChoices) at the same time.

The Paid Family Caregiver Program

You Already Care for a Veteran. Now Get Paid for It.
